Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy

The Department of Philosophy at Davidson College invites applicants for a two year Visiting Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2026. The successful candidate will teach five courses each year, one of which may be in the college’s Writing Program.

• Ph.D. in philosophy before the start of the appointment
• Committed to outstanding teaching and continuing scholarly activity
