The Service Consultant is responsible for onboarding new clients to the Dayforce system or supporting existing clients upgrading to new Dayforce processing products.
Requirements
- Translate business process requirements into configuration requirements for Dayforce solutions across varying levels of complexity.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and project team to complete implementations successfully.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, customers, and peers to promote teamwork and collaboration.
- Independently resolve project issues and escalate when appropriate.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Workforce Management, Payroll, Benefits, and related functions including Finance, labor relations, training development, and technical environments.
- Conduct preliminary client interviews, including needs analysis and gap/fit assessments.
- Prepare clients for implementation completion by reviewing processes, running interfaces, and providing hands-on support during first live payroll.
- Test and document custom solutions while troubleshooting complex issues.
- Design and execute system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure implementation quality by validating backend changes, user credentials, and billing/remittance configurations.
- Support smooth transition activities to the support team post-implementation.
- Contribute to project planning activities and ensure delivery timelines and quality expectations are achieved.
- Support midday shift operational requirements.
