TRC - Assistant Residence Manager 2

Assist the Residence Manager in the operation of the residence, providing supervision to direct care staff and implementing individualized programming for residents. Must have a working knowledge of educational/training techniques for developmentally disabled adults and the ability to understand and follow written habilitation plans. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Various levels of experience and education are required for this position, depending on the location and Assistant Residence Manager level.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of educational/training techniques for developmentally disabled adults
• Demonstrated competency in working with individuals with challenging behaviors
• Ability to oversee delivery of services
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift individuals to assist in transferring and positioning
• Ability to perform Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP) maneuvers and maintain SCIP certification
• Ability to successfully complete and maintain required in-service training
