Job Description
Special Education Teachers in the Children’s Day Program educate individuals with developmental disabilities in an ungraded self-contained classroom. Ongoing trainings and support are provided to enhance career growth. The program operates on a 12-month calendar.
Requirements
- MA/MS in Special Education
- NYS teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals (preferred)
- Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
