Job Description
Special Education Teachers work with individuals with developmental disabilities in a self-contained classroom, with ongoing trainings and support. This is a 12-month position with a schedule of Mon-Fri 8am-3pm.
Requirements
- MA Teacher- Must possess a Master’s Degree and NYS teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals is preferred.
- Interest in working with developmentally disabled individuals is required.
- Must possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $51,000-$84,000 per year depending on experience
