Project Controls Associate Director

Decima International is seeking a Project Controls Associate Director to support the development of multiple Data Center projects for a top technology client. The role involves overseeing planning, scheduling, cost, and risk control functions, and supporting the Project Controls Director in ensuring consistent implementation of project control systems.

Requirements

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with the client and project teams
• Support the Project Controls Director in leading and coordinating project controls activities
• Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations and reports for executive-level management
• Review project plans, schedules, and cost baselines
• Oversee the development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures, CPM schedules, and Integrated Master Schedules
• Support the implementation and management of resource and cost-loaded schedules
• Conduct high-level analyses of resource utilization, cost trends, and schedule performance
• Review consultants', contractors', and vendors' project controls deliverables
• Track and report schedule performance, including changes, delays, or accelerations
• Oversee the development and use of Earned Value Management (EVM) systems
• Identify and assess program-level risks and assist in the development of mitigation strategies and contingency plans
• Perform schedule and cost 'what-if' and delay analyses as required
• Serve as a key liaison between Decima, the client, and project teams
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Project Controls Managers and Coordinators
