Mechanical Engineer

DEKA Research and Development is looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer to participate in the development of innovative medical devices. The candidate will work on generating creative solutions, transitioning concepts into products, and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience with mechanical design for manufacturability in a high precision/high volume manufacturing environment (medical preferred)
• 1+ years’ experience with electro-mechanical devices with embedded software preferred
• Familiarity with Plastic injection molding, Die casting, Metal injection molding
• Exposure to process validation and mold qualifications
