Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to develop innovative medical devices, working as part of a team from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate is an engineer with a maker-space mentality who is a motivated, hands-on, self-starter with strong critical thinking skills and sense of ownership.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering Degree (or similar) from a 4-year institution
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in product design, preferably in medical device and/or medical consumables
• Hands-on experience with mechanical design tools and software (CAD, FEA, etc.) and tolerance analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience designing dynamic systems with electro-mechanical devices a plus
• Ability to work in an open group dynamic environment
• Experience with DFM and scaling up for manufacturing a bonus
