Job Description
The Commercial Studio is seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead project teams, produce well-coordinated drawings and specifications, and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Requirements
- Contribute meaningfully to Dekker’s ongoing evolution as we grow our impact in public-sector architecture
- Lead client-focused project teams through all phases, from early concept to construction closeout
- Strengthen the Studio’s capabilities within the public safety and workplace project types
- Mentor and coach junior designers, building the overall capacity of the Commercial Studio
- Stay curious and bring new ideas, design approaches, and innovations into the conversation
- Spearhead ongoing, rigorous design research and interdisciplinary team dialogues to promote innovative, unique ideas and elevated design thinking within the Studio
- Actively participate in cross-office collaboration and contribute to a shared culture of design excellence
