The Harvest Enologist Intern is responsible for assisting in all aspects of research wine production, from vineyard harvesting/sampling to bottling. The intern will help support R&D experiments, develop wine styles, and create operational processing efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Enology or a related science such as chemistry or biochemistry preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong reading, writing, communication and mathematical skills
- Solid winemaking theory, wine sensory, communication/presentation and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure during harvest with many different people and departments
