Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) - Psychiatric Emergency Services - PRN

We are recruiting for a motivated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team! As a BHT, you will provide a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment for psychiatric patients, and assist with admissions, discharges, transfers and appropriate documentation.

Requirements

• Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers and appropriate documentation
• Obtains vital signs on assigned patients
• Collects laboratory specimens on assigned patients
• Performs transportation responsibilities
• Ensures confidentiality of patient information
• Provides care to patients in seclusion/restraint
• Promotes positive interpersonal relationships
• Adheres to, complies with and demonstrates support for the mission and values of Denver Health
