Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) - Psychiatric Emergency Services - PRN

We are recruiting for a motivated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) - Psychiatric Emergency Services - PRN to join our team! Provides direct patient care and conducts therapeutic group sessions under supervision. Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers, and collects laboratory specimens.

Requirements

• Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers and appropriate documentation
• Obtains vital signs on assigned patients
• Collects laboratory specimens on assigned patients as directed
• Performs transportation responsibilities
• Differentiates normal from abnormal findings and reports to the RN
• Ensures confidentiality of patient information
• Promotes positive interpersonal relationships with fellow employees, physicians, patients and visitors
• Adheres to Denver Health's mission and values
