Job Description
The State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is accepting applications for two full-time seasonal Licensed Practical Nurse positions at Camp Quinebaug in Killingly, CT. The incumbents will work under the general direction of the Registered Nurse, Camp Administrator or Camp Manager.
Requirements
- License or temporary permit to practice nursing in Connecticut by the State Board of Examiners for Nursing OR hold a Multistate or Compact Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders
- Experience working in a camp setting
- Experience communicating internally and externally with a diverse population both over the telephone and in written inquiries
- Experience using Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word
