Job Description
The State of Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Western Connecticut Mental Health Network within Behavioral Health Home services in Danbury, CT. The position will provide nursing care for individuals in recovery through integrated, person-centered care.
Requirements
- License or temporary permit to practice nursing in Connecticut by the State Board of Examiners for Nursing
- Multistate or Compact Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Ability to work with individuals with mental health conditions
- Knowledge of infection control practices
- Knowledge of various medications used in conjunction for the care of individuals who have physical disabilities and/or an intellectual disability
