Job Description
The Regulatory and Identity Services branch at the Department of Internal Affairs is seeking a Practice Leader Investigations â Charities to lead investigative practice across the Charities system. The role involves shaping investigative practice, providing expert advice, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate has significant experience leading complex investigations, strong knowledge of investigative practice, and high standards for quality and consistency.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading complex civil and or criminal investigations
- Strong knowledge of investigative practice, evidence handling, and disclosure obligations
- Sound judgement and confidence advising on investigative and enforcement risk
- Experience producing high-quality briefs of evidence and prosecution files
- The ability to influence and coach through expertise
- High standards for quality, consistency, and defensible decision-making
