This position is responsible for delivering clinical behavioral health assessments and evaluations within the community to determine the necessary levels of service for potential patients, ensuring they are referred to the most suitable service or resource that meets their needs. Additionally, builds a network of support for the hospital and enhances its capacity to address the needs of the public, including various stakeholders such as physicians and their office staff; community members, schools, religious organizations, civic groups, local employers, legislators, other healthcare and human service providers, and the media.
Requirements
- Valid Nevada State LPN or RN license required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or other related discipline preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience in marketing, community development, public relations or crisis communications required
- Valid Nevada Driver’s License and car insurance required
- Effective oral and written communications
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal political processes
- Knowledge of patient rights and laws pertaining to mental health
- Knowledge of printing procedures, graphic arts, photography, and desktop publishing
- Proficiency with software and/or equipment. (Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, work relatively independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
