Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Molding Technical Manager to lead our injection molding team and provide technical support to our automotive interior manufacturing and assembly processes.
Requirements
- Provide leadership and technical support of current model automotive interior manufacturing and assembly processes, tooling, and equipment
- Support of computer-based error and part tracking software and systems
- Resolution of quality and production throughput issues through structured problem solving processes
- Continuous incremental improvement of cost and quality metrics
- Interface with advanced engineering to implement proposed engineering revisions
- Must work closely with maintenance team to support operations
- Develop, Review and track maintenance level PM on all Injection molding machines, chiller, tower, and all other equipment in the IMM area.
- Overall equipment ownership in IMM as a lead troubleshooter and interface with OEM of equipment
- Maintain and update SWI for SMED and color change
- Weekly review of press safety checks
- Layout of work cell-Operator side
- SW audit to endure proper training in reference to safety checks
