Job Description
The Event Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising, assigning, and overseeing the work of housekeeping staff to maintain a high level of cleanliness and quality service. This position operates autonomously and represents the organization to guests, vendors, colleagues, and the public.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of four (4) years in a corporate housekeeping environment with a minimum of two (2) years of experience managing a team of employees
- Prior experience with cleaning chemicals and the Material Data Sheet (MSDS) requirements
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate, train, and develop staff
- Advanced knowledge of Housekeeping processes and procedures
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to monitor and maintain a budget
- Proven excellence in customer service
