Job Description
The Legal â Sales and Trading Legal Counsel - AVP/VP role involves providing legal and regulatory advice to front-office Sales and Trading desks, supporting transactional execution, and managing legal risk across various jurisdictions. The role requires drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on legal, regulatory, and transactional matters, and collaborating with colleagues across the region and globally.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 2-4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) for AVP
- Qualified lawyer with minimum 4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) for VP
- Experience in supporting Sales & Trading desk on legal, regulatory, and transactional matters
- Legal and regulatory experience for commodities trading
- Ability to multi-task and deliver under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent legal analytical skills and problem-solving ability
