Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 13+ years related experience or a Master's degree and 8+ years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 5+ years of experience.
- Deep expertise in thin-film coating technologies, including slot-die, contact, and/or jet dispensing.
- Skilled in fluid dynamics, rheology, and surface science as applied to coating processes.
- Hands-on experience with coating equipment setup, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in scaling processes to high-volume manufacturing and integrating with production systems.
- Familiar with ISO 13485 and FDA GMP requirements for regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical skills and use data-driven approaches to optimize process performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor others.
