Job Description
The Transportation Planner Assistant will be responsible for downloading data, assessing orders, tendering loads, scheduling pickups, and following up with carriers and warehouses to ensure on-time truck arrival and shipping.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of experience in data entry
- 3-4 years of customer service experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or procurement
- Proficient in MS Excel (intermediate or better preferred)
- Experience/knowledge with Supply Chain Management Systems (TMS, WMS preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and team player
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and ability to prioritize tasks during time-sensitive situations
