Job Description
The RF & Fiber Optic Network Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing two-way radio systems, fiber optic infrastructure, and telecommunications network equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise in RF systems, fiber networking, and IP-based communications, along with a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of experience in telecommunications, RF, or fiber environments operations
- Associate degree or technical school equivalent (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with Motorola CPS/RSS and Kenwood, or similar platforms
- Ability to climb ladders (over 6 feet) and work at various heights
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required (approximately 50–75%)
