The General Manager will lead the team to fulfill Blick's commitment to customers, the Arts, and local communities, driving revenue through exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and building individual customer relationships.
Requirements
- Supervise Assistant Manager(s), Key Holder(s), Receiver, Framer, and Sales Associates
- Train and develop store management in all aspects of the business
- Direct and monitor training and development for all associates
- Contact and meet with House Account customers on a regular basis
- Provide customer service at the Custom Services desk
- Assist the local or remote Custom Services production team
- Regularly review and monitor all aspects of inventory management
- Maintain a regular routine of maintenance and housekeeping
- Plan and coordinate merchandise set ups and visual compliance
- Provide input to the District Manager concerning customer needs and new products
