Manager, Security Defense Engineering

DigitalOcean is seeking a Manager, Security Defense Engineering to lead a team of Security Engineers and Analysts in defending the enterprise. The successful candidate will have a deep background in Infrastructure Security, Security Operations, or Security Engineering, and 2+ years of experience leading a team of security engineers or analysts.

Requirements

• Lead and grow a team of 6 infrastructure security engineers and security analysts
• Manage and mentor team members, and ensure the team maintains a high bar for technical execution
• Scale security infrastructure, including building and maintenance of critical systems and IAM and endpoint security
• Mature detection engineering, including triaging corporate alerts and building robust detections
• Collaborate with ICs and leaders across corporate and technical teams
