Job Description
We are seeking a Structural Designer to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with fully integrated and superior customer experience.
Requirements
- Degree in civil engineering with technical electives in structural engineering topics
- Prior consulting experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of relevant structural engineering codes and standards
- Understanding structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, RISA 3D or PCA software
- Proficiency in current AutoCAD, and building systems software
- Experience in the preliminary and detailed design of buildings, bridges, industrial and marine projects
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, understand and produce contract drawings in 2D and 3D
