Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join the Labor & Employment practice of a leading Am Law firm in Los Angeles or San Francisco. The role provides the opportunity to manage employment disputes in both state and federal courts while working closely with experienced attorneys on sophisticated litigation matters.
Requirements
- Handle a variety of employment litigation matters in California state and federal courts
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy
- Manage case development and litigation strategy, including coordinating discovery and case deadlines
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Communicate with clients regarding case developments and strategic considerations
- Collaborate with attorneys and litigation teams to ensure efficient case management and successful outcomes
