Job Description
Direct Start is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Drafter to join their team on a full-time basis. The Drafter will create technical drawings and plans for construction projects, collaborate with engineers and architects, and stay updated on industry standards.
Requirements
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to create accurate and detailed technical drawings for construction projects
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce 2D and 3D drawings
- Review and analyze technical specifications and blueprints to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Make necessary revisions and modifications to drawings as needed
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation
- Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of drawings
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for drafting and design
- Participate in project meetings and provide input and suggestions for improvement
