We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team supporting children and young people aged 8–18 within a residential care setting. Requirements
- Provide a safe, stable, and caring home environment
- Support young people with daily routines, including school, meals, and activities
- Promote emotional well-being, independence, and life skills
- Act as a positive role model and build trusting relationships
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies
- Support recreational, social, and educational activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs in line with regulatory requirements
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times
- Support health needs, including attending appointments and administering care
- Participate in training, supervision, and performance reviews
- Support educational development, including basic numeracy and literacy
- Assist with household tasks
- Ensure health & safety standards are met at all times
- Provide support across services where required
