Job Description
The System Engineer I role is responsible for managing the engineering and design needs of projects, particularly focusing on material handling systems. The engineer will lead the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of conveyor systems, ensuring adherence to codes, standards, and customer specifications. This role requires the ability to manage a team, deliver on time, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 3 years of experience in design and development of engineered systems with a focus on material handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing teams (a plus), and working knowledge of MS Office and CAD software (Inventor, Revit, AutoCAD preferred).
- Strong prioritization, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Ability to uphold DCI policies and procedures and communicate with stakeholders.
