Land Development Civil Engineer - STV

We are currently seeking a Land Development Civil Engineer for our Buildings group in Owings Mills, MD, which is currently the civil engineer of record for high-profile projects such as Harborplace and Baltimore Peninsula in Baltimore, MD. The candidate will collaborate on a wide variety of projects including conceptual master plans, schools, mixed-use, office buildings, industrial buildings, housing/apartment projects, commercial buildings, and civil/site structures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Professional Engineering License
• 4+ years of experience in civil/site design, land development, or a related field
• Familiarity with site development principles, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion/sediment control
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation
• ArcGIS and Hydraflow Hydrographs, HydroCAD experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lead permitting processes in Maryland jurisdictions
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to progress multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and team collaboration
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
