Job Description
A Sr Software Engineer with multiple years of experience in Progress ABL and OE Databases should have a strategic mindset and an interest in backend business logic programming, tools and best practices, troubleshooting, onboarding, mentoring, training, and Agile/Lean methodologies.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of several programming languages specifically Progress ABL
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Lean, Agile, Kanban methodologies
- Capability for providing direction, coaching and mentorship
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
- Demonstrated ability to lead others
- Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures
