Medical Assistant

Elite DNA Behavioral Health is seeking full-time Medical Assistants to support their growing provider of behavioral and mental health services in Tallahassee. The role involves providing administrative and clinical support to physicians, ensuring patient comfort and conducting necessary patient care, and documenting interactions. Requirements

• Provides services to individuals and coordination/support to psychiatrists, PA and APRNs.
• Initiates and completes all relevant documentation within organizational time frames.
• Perform duties in a prioritized, organized, and orderly manner to maximize clinic efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with team members and other staff.
• Follow instructions and complete job duties as assigned by providers and management staff.
• Educate patients and perform medical assessments.
• Take and verify medication orders.
• Verify pharmacy information.
• Update medications and patient records.
• Provide guidance and education to patients.
• Provide afterhours call line information.
