GL Accountant

Maintain DOCUmation's financial records by managing the general ledger, preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and supporting month-end/year-end close processes. Ensure compliance with GAAP, analyze financial data, manage fixed assets, and assist with audits.

Requirements

• Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger via Journal Entries
• Reviewing balance sheet and income statement for accuracy and reconciling accounts
• Analyzing financial data and providing financial recommendations
• Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards
• Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support
• Gathering information for tax documents
• Supporting the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed
• Maintain fixed asset records and supporting documentation
