Quality Engineering Team Lead

We are looking for a Quality Engineering Team Lead to own and operate CI/CD systems, lead the adoption of standardized QE practices, and drive increased automation of QE processes using AI-assisted tooling. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of owning and operating CI/CD systems at scale and deep expertise in CI/CD tooling and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven track record owning and operating CI/CD systems at scale using tools such as CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
• Deep expertise in CI/CD tooling and infrastructure, with the ability to independently evaluate, modernize, and scale systems to meet evolving engineering needs
• Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks (such as Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent) paired with a clear, defensible philosophy around test strategy and coverage.
• Solid background in Quality Engineering or Software Development in Test (SDET), including experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks from the ground up
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude, Codex, Cursor) to automate testing practices and accelerate engineering workflows.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills; you are equally comfortable working as an individual contributor and stepping into a leadership role as the quality voice across the engineering
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team, even informally
