Donation Program Consultant

The Donation Program Consultant I strategically plans, implements, and evaluates internal and external systems to impact hospital and community donation programs. This role will also collaborate with other departments within Donor Network West to perform these functions.

Requirements

• Develop and implement hospital policies, procedures, strategies, and action plans to enhance eye, organ, and tissue donation
• Collaborate with other departments within Donor Network West
• Provide support on-site at hospitals during active organ cases
• Negotiate Donor Network West needs and necessary services with physicians, nurses, and ancillary services
• Perform quality assurance of data and maintenance of referral and donation process metrics
• Present plans and strategy to hospital administration, physicians, and nursing staff
• Provide conflict resolution, and advocacy with hospital administration, as needed
• Maintain hospital program site maintenance by ensuring all regulatory requirements are met
• Participate in community events surrounding assigned hospital(s)
• Communicate and present information effectively and concisely within a team environment
