Job Description
The Driveline Technician I is responsible for performing technical duties related to the manufacture of driveshafts. This involves operating mechanical equipment like saws, welders, and hydraulic presses, and assembling driveshafts using hand tools and measuring devices. The position operates under close supervision and requires learning to operate various machines.
Requirements
- Operate cut off saws, welders, hydraulic presses, and balancers
- Use hand tools to assemble driveshafts
- Use measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, dial indicators and dial indicators
- Read work orders and instructions
- Lift, pack, stack, and wrap up up to 50 pounds
