Midland Manufacturing, part of OPW, a Dover Company, is seeking an Engineering Associate to assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of engineering projects while supporting senior engineers and contributing to technical documentation and problem solving.
Requirements
- Learn and support process for new product development, design modification, design waiver, and compliance with regulatory design requirements
- Learn and support product sustenance activities, such as non-conformance investigations, troubleshooting product performance issues for customers, on-call technical support, and hands-on support of manufacturing
- Learn and support process for engineering liquid level gauge to external customer and regulatory requirements
- Learn the rules and regulations applicable to Midland operations and products
- Support engineering compliance with and coverage in QMS
- Create 2D and 3D images for catalogue of products
- Assist in the design, development and testing of engineering projects and systems
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross functional teams to meet project goals and timelines
- Conduct research, technical analysis, to support engineering initiatives
- Contribute to technical documentation, reports and project records
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of engineering processes and procedures
- Evaluates and applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform assigned tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and requirements in the performance of the position to maintain a safe working environment
