Job Description
We are seeking a Shop Technician to work in our valve repair shop, making repairs to customer property, assembling and breaking down equipment, and performing general shop maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a high school degree or equivalent, one year of related experience, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
- Write route reports and correspondence
- Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, fraction, percentages, area circumference and volume
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situation where only limited standardization exist
- Determine the correct equipment and tools needed to do a job correctly
