Senior VDC Engineer

DPR Construction is seeking a Senior VDC Engineer to lead development, implementation and support of all VDC and Field Technology processes across the region. The successful candidate will support established VDC initiatives, provide technical support and training to project teams, and facilitate communication and alignment between project teams, virtual builder leadership, and client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Support project setup for 3D trade coordination, site logistical planning, and 4D sequencing
• Provide technical support and training to project teams on digital tools such as Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
• Lead and support VDC coordination kick off meetings and follow up sessions
• Facilitate communication and alignment between project teams, virtual builder leadership, and client stakeholders
• Configure project site to host BIM data or other equitable platforms
• Assist the VDC Manager in developing and implementing project specific VDC strategies, scope, plans, and initiatives
• Support implementation of project specific VDC strategy and VDC initiatives
• Manage on-site construction team efforts in the implementation of VDC and FTG applications and processes in addition VDC deliverables
• Support preparation of project specific contract language for trade buyout in coordination with the VDC Manager
• Set up and support VDC and FTG equipment and software including total stations, laser scanners, UAVs, and RTLS, and deliver FTG services such as laser scanning and drone operations
