Senior VDC Engineer

DPR Construction is seeking a Senior VDC Engineer to lead development, implementation and support of all VDC processes across the region. The ideal candidate will support project teams in the office and field, and support model-based project management, process workflows, and construction technology deployment for DPR business units.

Requirements

• Support project setup for 3D trade coordination, site logistical planning, and 4D sequencing
• Aide and support training in various software packages (i.e.: Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Administer and support VDC coordination kick-off meeting and subsequent meetings
• Configuring of project site to host BIM data (if applicable) or other equitable platforms
• Support setup of VDC field equipment and software (total stations, laser scanner, UAVs)
• Perform VDC work and support project personnel in VDC processes
• Provide support for VDC services where applicable (laser scanning, drone operations, RTLS, etc.)
• Assist VDC Manager in developing project-specific VDC strategies, scope and plan in addition to standard processes
• Support implementation of project specific VDC strategy and VDC initiatives
• Project specific leadership and mentoring for VDC and related technology fields
• Manage on-site construction team efforts in the implementation of VDC applications and processes in addition VDC deliverables
• Assist project specific contract language in coordination with VDC Manager for trade buyout
