Job Description
DPR Construction is seeking a Senior VDC Engineer to lead the development and implementation of Virtual Design & Construction processes across the region, supporting project teams in the office and field.
Requirements
- Support project setup for 3D trade coordination, site logistical planning, and 4D sequencing
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on digital tools such as Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
- Lead and support VDC coordination kick off meetings and follow up sessions
- Facilitate communication and alignment between project teams, virtual builder leadership, and client stakeholders
- Configure project site to host BIM data (if applicable) or other equitable platforms
- Assist the VDC Manager in developing and implementing project specific VDC strategies, scope, plans, and initiatives
- Support implementation of project specific VDC strategy and VDC initiatives
- Manage on-site construction team efforts in the implementation of VDC and FTG applications and processes
- Support preparation of project specific contract language for trade buyout in coordination with the VDC Manager
- Set up and support VDC and FTG equipment and software
