Job Description
Dr. Richard Izquierdo Health & Science Charter School is seeking an English as a New Language (ENL) Teacher to provide instruction to high school students. The teacher will work collaboratively with other teachers and report to the High School Principal and ENL Coordinator.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
- At least 2 years prior teaching experience in high school
- NYS certification ENL preferred, or on the pathway toward getting certified
- Demonstrated success working in non-traditional and/or urban school settings
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with educational technology (SMART Board, student laptops, etc.)
