Data Manager

We are looking for a Data Manager to join us here at TMS, shaping how data is governed, integrated, and used across the organisation. The role is responsible for ensuring TMS data assets and management information are accurate, secure, and strategically leveraged to support operational performance, customer insight, and business growth.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain a TMS data strategy aligned with DS Smith Group frameworks.
• Design and oversee scalable, secure data architectures and integrations.
• Implement data governance policies, ensuring data quality, consistency, and GDPR compliance.
• Lead the delivery of data solutions, pipelines, and system integrations.
• Own and continuously improve management information, dashboards, and operational reporting.
• Define and monitor KPIs related to data quality, usage, and business impact.
• Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Promote data literacy and support teams in making data-driven decisions.
• Support digital transformation and change initiatives relating to data systems and processes.
• Represent TMS in DS Smith Group data governance forums and manage third-party data vendors.
