Job Description
The successful Upper School English teacher candidate is a committed educator who has experience with upper school grades and will challenge students to perform at their best, while engaging them to approach reading and writing in a thoughtful and imaginative way.
Requirements
- Maintain Duchesne’s excellent writing and literature program.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and assessment tools.
- Learn and leverage technology in instruction.
- Maintain accurate student records (e.g., attendance, grades, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with faculty and other members of the school community, as required.
- Supervise students in a variety of school-related settings and activities.
- Other duties assigned by your supervisor.
