Corporate Counsel (Marketing)

Our mission at Duolingo is to develop the best education in the world and make it universally available. We're looking for a Corporate Counsel (Marketing) to be a legal partner to our Marketing team, advising on marketing and advertising initiatives across channels, ensuring compliance, creative boldness, and execution at pace.

Requirements

• J.D. (or international equivalent) and active bar membership in good standing.
• 4-8+ years of relevant legal experience, including familiarity with multiple relevant areas of law and experience advising on marketing and advertising campaigns.
• Strong contract drafting/negotiation skills across talent/influencer, production, licensing, and vendor agreements.
• Clear, concise communication tailored to creative and non-legal stakeholders.
• Proven cross-functional partnership and judgment in fast-moving environments.
• Ability to work from or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA.
