Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you’re the go-to problem solver who keeps our community running smoothly. From completing service requests to preparing apartments for new residents, your work ensures our residents have a comfortable place to call home.

Requirements

• Experience in apartment maintenance or hotel engineering in plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
• HVAC, EPA certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment).
• Ability to lift, push and pull up 50 pounds, climb stairs, ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.
• Personal transportation and valid Driver’s License to use during workday and throughout community (garden style).
• Enthusiasm towards delivering an unexpected level of outstanding customer service.
• Ability to use a smart phone and computer for completing work orders and time sheets.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to team members and customers.
• Knowledge of laws, EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials, including solvents and flammables.
• Live within 1-hour response time from the property to provide on-call responses for emergency services.
