Job Description
Dwight School is seeking an experienced Middle School Humanities teacher to teach critical thinking and disciplinary analysis through the delivery of rigorous IB MYP Individuals & Societies and/or Language & Literature curriculums to Grades 6–8 students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Science Education, Literature, History, or a related field required
- Graduate degree in Education, Social Science Education, Literature, History, or a related field preferred
- At least two year's prior teaching experience in a Middle School setting
- Experience with the IB Middle Years Program highly preferred
- Experience teaching to a wide range of learners
- Experience with thoughtful integration of technology into curricula
