Job Description
Dynacare is looking for a Bilingual Dispatcher (Float) to join their Transportation team in Ottawa, ON or Brampton, ON. The Dispatcher will be responsible for dispatching drivers, assigning route equipment and supplies, and ensuring compliance with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Act.
Requirements
- Secondary school or equivalent education
- Valid driver's license with clean abstract
- Proficiency in English and French
- 3-5 years related experience in manual dispatching
- Proficient with Excel and answering emails
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a high-paced environment
- Good telephone manner and ability to diffuse difficult situations
- Ability to make difficult decisions with little or no forewarning
- Good interpersonal skills and effective communication
