Job Description
Dynacare is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant - Chemistry to join their team in Kelowna. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for the preparation of samples and reagents, performance of simple tests, quality control checks, and equipment maintenance. This is a contract position for 12 months, 37.5 hours/week, with a starting pay rate of $24.25-$26.75/hour.
Requirements
- CSMLS or BCSLS certification
- Graduate of an MLA program accredited by BCSLS or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in a related scientific or health discipline
- International MLA or MLT qualification
- Phlebotomy skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to manage anxious patients
- Detail-oriented
- English language proficiency
