Job Description
Measurement Room Technician required to ensure the integrity of metallic and plastic components used in automotive assemblies. The role involves using advanced metrology equipment and technical expertise to verify parts against complex engineering drawings and quality standards.
Requirements
- Perform first-off, in-process, batch, and final inspection on metallic and plastic components used in automotive assemblies.
- Use precision measurement tools including CMM, height gauges, bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, optical systems, and surface plates.
- Interpret engineering drawings with complex GD&T, OEM tolerance stacks, and critical-to-quality characteristics (CTQs).
